The Heat Beneath Our Feet: Renewable Energy Incentive Parity

The recently passed Inflation Reduction Act will transition current investment tax and production tax credits to a “technology neutral” tax credit. This new tax credit will be available to all technologies that meet a minimum carbon emissions standard, which should create an equal playing field for competing technologies and energy sources.

While an improvement over current practices, there is still room for state and federal partners to create incentive parity between clean energy resources. This Heat Beneath our Feet Webinar will discuss improvements to incentive structures for the development of geothermal resources.
