Black, Indigenous, and People of color (BIPOC) and lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, and queer and questioning (LGBTQ+) young adults experience higher rates of negative physical and mental health outcomes due to social, economic, and environmental inequities that are rooted in systemic oppression and discrimination. Join Active Minds for a candid discussion on BIPOC mental health in recognition of Bebe Moore Campbell National Minority Mental Health Awareness Month also known as BIPOC Mental Health Awareness Month. By the end of this webinar, participants will be able to:
*List two reasons BIPOC Mental Health Awareness Month is important to recognize.
*Identify a useful tool for supporting their BIPOC peers.
*Provide two considerations for supporting their peers upon returning to campus.
