Jacquelyn Elise Connell, Esq.
Director of Legal & Trust Administration Services @ACHIEVA
Jacquelyn E. Connell, Esq. is the Director of Legal & Trust Administration Services for Achieva Family Trust. In her current role, she works with attorneys, families, and individuals with disabilities on reviewing and establishing special needs trusts. Prior to working at Achieva Family Trust, she focused her practice on estate planning and estate administration. She has extensive experience in drafting and reviewing Wills and Powers of Attorney, as well as advising clients on estate planning techniques with regard to trusts, real estate, and long-term care. Jacquelyn is a member of the Allegheny County Bar Association and its Law and Disability section. She obtained a Bachelor of Arts summa cum laude and her Juris Doctor from Duquesne University.
Robert K. Schweitzer, CELA
Rob grew up in Ford City, Pennsylvania. He received his Bachelor of Arts, magna cum laude, from Westminster College, New Wilmington, Pennsylvania. He received his Juris Doctor from the University of Pittsburgh School of Law. Rob is a Certified Elder Law Attorney (CELA), the certification specialty awarded by the National Elder Law Foundation (NELF) as authorized by the Supreme Court of Pennsylvania. He focuses his practice on counseling individuals and families with respect to estate and long-term care planning as well as trust and estate administration. Mr. Schweitzer has lectured for the Pennsylvania Bar Institute (PBI) on Elder Law topics such as Medicaid, veterans benefits and long-term care planning. Prior to joining the firm, Mr. Schweitzer practiced for a mid-sized law firm in Pittsburgh in the Estates and Trust Services Group. Mr. Schweitzer has a well-rounded litigation background having previously litigated commercial, construction, securities and professional liability.
