Fr. Boniface Hicks, OSB
Director, Institute of Ministry Formation @St. Vincent Archabbey
Father Boniface Hicks, O.S.B., has been a monk of Saint Vincent Archabbey since 1998. In 2017, Father Boniface co-authored, along with Father Thomas Acklin, O.S.B., the book Spiritual Direction: A Guide for Sharing the Father’s Love. He has a bachelor of science degree in computer science and a master of science degree in computer science from Penn State University. He earned a master of arts degree in 2003, and a master of divinity degree in 2004 from Saint Vincent Seminary, summa cum laude. He was ordained a deacon in 2003, and a priest in 2004. Following ordination, he returned to Penn State, where he completed his Ph.D. in computer science in 2007. Upon his return to Saint Vincent, he served as a faculty member at Saint Vincent College (2007-2011); associate director of spiritual formation (2015) then director of spiritual life (2016-present), adjunct faculty member (2017-present) and director for alumni affairs (2017-present) at Saint Vincent Seminary.
Fr. Jacques Philippe
Author and Spiritual Guide @Community of the Beatitudes
With over one million copies sold in 24 languages, Jacques Philippe’s writings on themes such as prayer, interior freedom, and peace of heart have become classics of modern Catholic spirituality. Jacques Philippe was born on March 12, 1947 in Lorraine, France. After studying mathematics in college, he spent several years teaching and doing scientific research. In 1976, he met the recently-founded Community of the Beatitudes, and, answering the Lord’s call, he became a brother in the community. He then spent several years in Jerusalem and Nazareth immersing himself in the study of Hebrew and the Jewish roots of Christianity, before studying theology and canon law in Rome. He also began his work as a spiritual director, working in the formation of priests and seminarians of the community. in 1983 he was ordained a priest and in 1994 he returned to France where he assumed various responsibilities including spiritual direction, and the formation of new members in the Community.
Matt Lozano
Director of Training @Heart of the Father Ministries
Matt is the Director of Training for Heart of the Father Ministries. He is passionate about sharing the life-changing truth of God’s Word in a clear and practical way. Matt has over twenty years of experience teaching in the classroom and around the world. He has a BA in History from JMU, an MA in Educational Leadership from Villanova University, and an MA in Theology from the Augustine Institute. He is the co-author of the Unbound Ministry Guidebook and Abba’s Heart. Matt ministers alongside his amazing wife Jennifer and they are blessed with five children.
Jane Guenther
Director @Catholic Renewal Center, Archdiocese of St. Louis
Jane Guenther, M.Div. Aquinas Institute of Theology. Mrs. Guenther is the Director of the Catholic Renewal Center in the Archdiocese of St. Louis. She is past president of the National Service Committee for Catholic Charismatic Renewal and now serves on the board of the International Catholic Charismatic Renewal Services (ICCRS) in Rome. She is a professor at the Pope Paul VI Institute of Continuing Education. She has extensive experience in parish ministry, administration, teaching, spiritual direction and healing and deliverance ministry. Mrs. Guenther teaches courses in theology and spirituality.
