NOTE: This is a PG-13 rated workshop. Parental supervision is advised!
Your main character grabs the nearest thing to them to protect themselves from the oncoming pointy thingy, they swing, and the clash is as though two pointy things clanged together. From a distance there is a pew pew pew and he knows that the long distance thingies are coming. He dives behind the stuff that might stop the pew pew, but does it stop?
Sound scary? It is. Sometimes knowing a little about your subject can be the difference between a reader being engaged, or a reader laughing and moving on. In this 60 minute workshop we will examine a brief history of edged and propellant weapons and talk about some common mistakes, misconceptions, and outright silliness surrounding weaponry. After the presentation we will use at least 25% of the time to discuss weaponry and when it should and should not be used.
Prizes will be given away with the Spinny Wheel of Happiness at the end of the workshop.
The fee for this workshop is just $5 which will also include the video for future replay, and a PDF transcript.
If you can't make the live event, the download will be available for $10 on our website later in the summer.
