OVTAA Webinar- Let the Beat Drop: Peri-operative Arrhythmias and Treatments
This is an intermediate lecture with information on cardiac physiology, ECG morphology, and common arrhythmias in the companion animal patient. There will be discussion on precipitating factors and common manifestations of perioperative arrhythmias. There will also be information on treatment recommendations for common arrhythmias during anesthesia.

Zoom registration required and limited to current OVTAA and PVMA members. Presentation will be recorded and shared with OVTAA and PVMA members unable to participate live.

Nicole graduated in 2007 from Northeast College with an Associate's in Applied Science. She spent 6 years in general practice while finishing her Bachelor’s of Science before working in anesthesia at the University of Tennessee for 5 years. In 2018, she accepted a position as a Veterinary Anesthesia Nurse at Veterinary Cancer & Surgery Specialists in Portland, OR, and shortly after finished the process of obtaining her VTS in Anesthesia. She is an active academy member of the AVTAA, and recently became a member of the Elanco Speaker’s Bureau. She has always had a special interest in teaching other technicians or students and is currently working on providing CE to other members of the veterinary community.
