Harry Cummings has been doing consulting with a focus on evaluation for 50 years and this webinar draws on that experience. He is joined by Don Murray who has worked with Harry for the last 20+ years.

The webinar covers topics such as: what skills do you need, how do you get started? How do you find new clients? Client communications; the important elements of a proposal.

Most importantly, we will give you the opportunity to ask all the questions you have thought about but have not had a chance to answer.

Skills - research and analysis methods, communication, writing, time management
• Finding and retaining clients
• Proposal writing and preparing budgets
• Team development and management – scoping the work, recruiting external expertise where applicable, delegating responsibility, establishing/negotiating per diems, etc.
• Business set-up/structure – incorporation, full-time employees, network of associates, working in central office vs. working remotely, accounts management, liability insurance, etc.
