3D Volumes: A New Dimension in Surfer Gridding
With the release of Surfer 25, 3d gridding in Surfer is here! The XYZC data you gather in the field can now be interpolated and visualized as a 3D volume within Surfer. Whether it be groundwater contamination, mineral deposits, or resistivity readings, Surfer now offers features that will help you show your clients the full story of their site.

During this webinar, Drew and Jake will not only demonstrate how to interpolate XYZC data in Surfer, but also all the different ways you can visualize your 3D grid. Whether it be sliced in the 2D plot view, or viewed as a volume render in true 3D, we can’t wait to show you the power of 3D gridding in Surfer.

This webinar will cover the following topics, teaching you how to:

• Interpolate XYZC data to create a 3d grid
• Transform your 3D grid into a grid based map
• View slices of a 3D grid in the 2d plot view
• Visualize the 3D grid in the 3D view as a volume render, contours, and isosurfaces
• Combine different maps types to create a complete 3D mapping project
