In 2020, new challenges for business seem to pop up almost every day. With everything going on, why should companies be making the decision to actively be working on Justice, Equity, Diversity, and Inclusion (JEDI)?
Please join us September 15th for a honest conversation with Rob Michalak, the Social Mission Special Projects Director at Ben & Jerry’s. He will share the inside story on some of Ben & Jerry’s biggest successes and challenges in their quest to tackle controversial issues. Rob will also be announcing a new Ben & Jerry's module to PSC's 30 Days, 1000 Actions Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion challenge, running through the end of September. Participants who complete this new modules can win free ice cream!
Ben & Jerrys’ released a call to action titled “Silence is NOT an option” as social tensions rose in the US after the death of George Floyd. Ben & Jerry’s has outlined a four-part call-to-action including policy reform, dismantling white supremacy and abolishing police brutality. The 2020 call-to-action is the newest in a long history of active participation in racial justice issues including publicly supporting the Black Lives Matter campaign in 2016, actively engaging in equal rights for LGBTQ and climate justice.
