Taichi trained under his mentor Shiro Kashiba for years and worked at I Love Sushi before starting Chiso in Fremont in 2001. Almost a decade later, Taichi sold Chiso and opened Sushi Kappo Tamura with his business partner Steve Tamura in 2010.

Actress

Kimi Rutledge is an actress based out of the Pacific Northwest. She has appeared as a co-star on the 2nd season of the Hulu show Shrill (2020) alongside Aidy Bryant, and as the lead in various short films like Indecent Exposure (2019) and indie thriller short, Watching Her (2019). Kimi has also appeared with principal roles in commercials for companies such as T-Mobile and the Washington Lottery.
