Steve Johnson

From early on, Steve knew he wanted to follow in the footsteps of his father as an electrician. His deep appreciation for the trade led him to join the Local #8 IBEW apprenticeship program in Toledo in 1980. Steve learned craftsmanship and a strong work ethic while there as well as the value of cultivating relationships. In 1987, Steve joined the team at Rudolph Libbe Group. During his tenure, he has been an integral team member in roles that have included superintendent of the electrical division, operations manager, vice president of operations, senior vice president of construction and executive vice president. Steve is based in the Toledo office of GEM Inc. He is president of The Association of Union Constructors (TAUC), president of the Mechanical Contractors Association of Northwest Ohio and a board member of the National Maintenance Agreement Policy Committee (NMAPC).
Steve Lindauer

Steve Lindauer has been chief executive officer of The Association of Union Constructors since September 2006. Lindauer has been actively involved in the construction and maintenance industry for over 35 years. He serves as a spokesman and advocate for union construction and maintenance industry, and is regularly cited as an industry expert in national trade publications. In recent years, Lindauer has completed specialized training in association management and executive leadership, and has skillfully shepherded TAUC (formerly the National Erectors Association) through a rebirth in terms of membership, governance and mission. Lindauer is a member of the Joint Administrative Committee to the Plan for the Settlement of Jurisdictional Disputes, Secretary of Helmets to Hardhats Program, sits on the Board of Directors of the Construction Labor Research Council and maintains professional membership with the American Society of Association Executives.
