He is a distinguished scholar with particular expertise in legal policy including criminal justice, national security, and constitutional law. Previously, Alt was a director at The Heritage Foundation’s Center for Legal and Judicial Studies under former U.S. Attorney General Ed Meese. In 2004, Mr. Alt spent five months in Iraq as a war correspondent. He is also an avid mountaineer, who has successfully climbed two of the World's Seven Summits. Matt Fullenbaum (Director of Legislation @American Tort Reform Association (ATRA)) Matt Fullenbaum is Director of Legislation of the American Tort Reform Association (ATRA), a national coalition of non-profit organizations, professional societies, trade associations and corporations working through in-state coalitions to bring fairness and efficiency to the civil justice system. In his role at ATRA, Matt manages the Association’s legislative programs and task forces. Matt earned a Bachelor of Arts degree from The George Washington University Justin Owen (President & CEO @Beacon Center of Tennessee) Justin Owen is president & CEO of the Beacon Center of Tennessee, the state's premier free market think tank. Among Beacon's achievements include comprehensive tort reform in 2012 and more recently COVID liability reform during the 2020 legislative session. Justin received his law degree from the University of Memphis and is licensed to practice law in Tennessee.
