Ayurveda methods to manage anxiety, emotional stress and illness
While we recognize this is an uncertain and challenging time, it is important you continue to care for your body in order to maintain good health. The good news is there are many ways you can manage your symptoms from your own home!

Ayurveda is a complete stand-alone medical system that originates from India with 5,000 years of experience. Ayurveda translates as “the knowledge of life”. Ayurveda emphasizes health by encouraging living in sync with cycles of the day and seasons throughout one’s life cycle. When disease occurs, it incorporates a multitude of methods for healing, offering variety of modalities based on an individual’s needs that can be incorporated into routine.

Monica M. Gutierrez will provide methods on how to manage anxiety, emotional stress, and illness from an Ayurvedic point of view. Recommendations emphasis improving your immune system by returning balance to your mental, emotional and physical self. When one’s focus in life is balance, then your resilience to all challenges is stronger.

Topics of guidance will range to include: daily routine, food & spices, herbal supplements, essential oils, breathing techniques (pranayama) and chakras.

Monica has practiced yoga for over 20-years, is a registered Yoga Instructor (RYT-200) with Yoga Alliance and teaches Pre-natal and Anusara Yoga. She is trained as an Ayurvedic Health Counselor and is a member of National Ayurvedic Medical Association.
