In this online session hosted by the SMS Cooperative Strategies Interest Group, we bring together experts working at the forefront of risk analysis of climatic extremes and their impacts on infrastructure networks and economic systems. Please join us on Tuesday, July 26 at 11:00-12:00 CET / 17:00-18:00 UK / 18:00-19:00 Paris for a lively discussion.
We welcome our speakers Prof. Jim Hall and Richard Threlfall, two leading experts in analyzing infrastructure. Prof. Jim Hall is Professor of Climate and Environmental Risks in the University of Oxford and Director of Research in the School of Geography and the Environment. He will discuss where can academia make a practical contribution to addressing the climate change challenges and hence, what research agenda or philosophies they could follow. Richard Threlfall is Global Head of KPMG IMPACT at KPMG International. He will speak on how industry, consulting firms, social organisations, policy makers and governments are working together and what challenges they face in operating alliances.
This event is organized by the Strategic Management Society Cooperative Strategies Interest Group to foster dialogues on themes central to the interest group. This online session requires pre-registration and is open to SMS members and practitioners interested in this topic.
