Independent practice nurses operate a business in addition to providing professional nursing services. This webinar will provide practical considerations to assist nurses in managing potential risks arising from independent practice.

She received her Bachelor of Science in Nursing degree from Ryerson University and a Law Degree from the University of Ottawa’s law school. She has worked as a Registered Nurse specializing in the areas of maternal and infant health and school health. She has also worked as a Policy Analyst with the Ministry of Health and Long-Term Care. Priscilla is a member of the College of Nurses of Ontario, the Registered Nurses Association of Ontario and the Law Society of Upper Canada and the Canadian Association of Black Lawyers. She formerly sat as an executive member on the Ontario Bar Association’s Health Law Executive.
