Topic: Protect Black Women
"We Need Love Too"
When discussing systemic racism, conversations often center around the injustice’s black men and boys face. These conversations often overlook the complex plight of all black women and girls as they too seek justice and equality.
When black men fall victim to law enforcement, often black women and girls take on the added responsibility ensuring the household carries on. Time and time again, black women and girls have proven they are resilient, critical thinkers that always find a way.
Today we take on the topic Protecting Black Women. Who is there for us? Who can we call on in our time of need? Who can we count on to be our voices when we can’t speak? Who do we look to for protection?
Let's "Chit-Chat" about it! The chat and the mic will be open.
You will be able to type your thoughts in the "chat" or we will plug you in and hear your voice on the "mic." Remember this is a place of support, authenticity, love and transparency.
