Angelica “Angel” Abston has practiced as a Licensed Professional Counselor for over 10 years and worked within the mental health field for over 15 years. She is the co-founder of The Therapy Collective. She specializes in relational trauma and attachment. She has supported many couples and individuals in recovering from betrayal. Angel has received specialized training in couple's therapy from the Gottman Institute and incorporates teachings from the work of relationship expert, Esther Perel. In her practice she integrates Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and psychodynamic therapy. She also incorporates EMDR and mindfulness practices to support and integrate the mind-body connection.
