Computer Science Education week is December 5th - 11th! Register your classroom for a virtual Hour of Code with CodeHS to give your students the opportunity to learn how coding connects to the real world.
This hour-long workshop will begin with guest speaker Richa Sinha, a Software Development Engineer at Amazon! After Richa shares her coding journey, the CodeHS team will guide students to explore the intersection of coding and art by building a computer program that allows them to create custom memes to share with friends! They'll also hear about real-world examples of how coding is used to create art around the world.
Recommended Skill Level: Beginner, Middle School or High School
Setup: this workshop will be a webinar format, which means that students will not be able to write into a chat field or show their video. We will open up the chat for introductions at the start of the workshop and for questions at the end of the workshop.
