What is it like to work at the National Center for Atmospheric Research? Students can go behind-the-scenes, live with NCAR experts to ask questions and learn about their work
PROGRAM DESCRIPTION: Do you like science, art, math, building things, coding, or writing? Any of these skills and many others could lead you to a career at a place like the National Center for Atmospheric Research! Whether you know what job you want, or you’re still searching for your passion, your path may shift along the way. We’ll talk with NCAR internship and student program coordinators to explore the many pathways to STEM careers, learn how they got to where they are, and discover what actions students can take today to help them find their way to an organization like NCAR.
LENGTH: 30-45 minutes
GRADES: Designed for Middle & High School, but all welcome
CONNECTION: We will connect using Zoom. All you need is a computer or smart device connected to the internet.
