Publishing at Journal of Experimental Medicine, JEM: What, How and Why?. Speaker: Montserrat Cols, PhD – JEM Scientific Editor.

The session is organized in the framework of “Toolbox, IDIBAPS Talks Series”. This is a cycle of talks that focuses on different topics of general interest for all IDIBAPS-FCRB research community and beyond. The objective of Toolbox is to allow everyone having access to updated information regarding different issues of scientific relevance. Toolbox sessions are promoted by the IDIBAPS’ “Human Resources strategy for researchers”.

During this particular session, the peer-review process and life of a manuscript at the JEM will be explored. Some useful tips on types of manuscripts, scope, cover letters and follow up will be presented to allow researchers know what JEM editors could expect from them. Useful information will be provided to all researchers willing to publish at one of the leading academic scientific journals of current times. This will be possible thanks to the invited speaker Montserrat Cols who works at JEM as Scientific Editor.
