Developing a Community Rain Garden Project

This event will describe the experiences and outline the
importance of building partnerships among community groups
for a community rain garden project. Topics will include:

Our motivation for the project and steps in planning the rain garden.
Our planting day experience.
Community partnerships, public information, and outreach in the watershed.
Our public park project location and possible future steps.

Four members of our community team will present their experiences, including volunteer Board Members of the Owasco Lake Watershed Association, Lead Watershed Inspector of the Owasco Lake Watershed Inspection and Protection Division, and the Director of Cayuga County Parks and Trails.
