Bayou Bend Virtual Summer Camp
Week 1: July 19 - 23
Week 2: July 26 -30
(the second week is an encore of the first, with the same content and schedule)

In this unique virtual camp, children develop an understanding of daily life in 1700s-era Colonial America by looking at the objects people made. Sessions include units on pottery, textiles, woodworking, music, food, gardening, and historic inventions.

Virtual visits with museums and interpreters around the country and in Houston offer unparalleled access to expert instruction. Campers can participate in projects at home with supplies from the list provided when you register. Camp sessions take place live via Zoom, and all broadcasts are recorded for later viewing by those who register.
