Mr. Welsh will focus on the Cal/OSHA Injury and Illness Prevention Program regulation, which went into effect in 1991. This year, as the regulation turns 30, we will look back on its history, its enforcement, and its compliance challenges. We will also explore some general ideas on the path forward for this ground-breaking regulation.
