At our first annual summit last December, over 700 advocates gathered for critical conversations about early childhood in Florida.
Now, it’s time to come together again and map our way forward for 2022.
The Covid-19 pandemic has put a spotlight on children: from their health and well-being to the importance of child care to Florida’s economic stability. Child care is not just babysitting; it’s a training ground for communication, cooperation and critical thinking, and the foundation of learning that prepares students for success in K-12 and beyond.
This year, we have witnessed the largest state and federal child care investment in generations, and there is a renewed appreciation that we all stand to benefit when we better support children and families. How do we take advantage of this momentum for early childhood and center equity in the pandemic recovery?
Join our virtual summit on September 8 to hear from local, statewide and national thought leaders on how we can move forward #ForFloridaChildren into 2022.
