Description
We are pleased to invite you to this global webinar to share the first major findings of Engage (formerly known as PLAY), a toolkit developed by RTI International and NYU’s Global TIES for Children Center, supported by the LEGO Foundation, to measure support for engagement of children in their learning.
The World Bank has conducted a study which looks at how the pedagogical practices and content knowledge of primary-school teachers correlate with their students’ learning outcomes. The findings highlight the importance of engaging students in order to improve their learning outcomes and show that the Engage observation tool is highly effective at predicting learning outcomes.
During the webinar, you will have the opportunity to hear from Street Child who have been using the tool in Bangladesh, Sierra Leone and Uganda, as well as the study authors.
This webinar should be of particular interest to funders, influencers and implementers of foundational learning/early childhood, and primary school programs, working in low- and middle-income contexts. Please do share this registration link with anyone else in your network who you think may be interested in attending.
Please note that by registering for this webinar, you are consenting to Better Purpose contacting you about this and other similar events.
