Artist Talk with Molly Murphy Adams
Join us for a virtual artist talk with Molly Murphy Adams as she discusses her work in the exhibition, "The Space Between: Anita Fields & Molly Murphy Adams," on view at 108 Contemporary, October 1 through November 21, 2021.

Molly Murphy Adams, who is of Oglala Lakota descent, bases her work on concepts of hybridization—pairing the needlework techniques of beadwork and embroidery with printmaking and paper media. Murphy Adams’ work illustrates the blending of cultures, identities, and histories by juxtaposing dissimilar methods, media, and narratives.

This exhibition and all of its programming is made possible by support from Osage Nation Foundation, Flint Family Foundation, Tulsa Artist Fellowship, Mid-America Arts Alliance, the National Endowment for the Arts, and the state arts agencies of Arkansas, Kansas, Missouri, Nebraska, Oklahoma, and Texas.
