RFG is launching a series of new webinars targeting innovation in the rail freight sector. Our first webinar on 14 April looks at new ideas for cleaning engines, more efficient timetabling and just-in-time buffer refurbishing. All contributing to the decarbonisation agenda.
Powerflow and UKRL ask: “Can operators be greener and save £? Absolutely, Yes!”
They will explain how their product cleans engines and why it is important: Clean engines work better, pollute less, cost less to run and last longer.
Belvedi explains how the integration of NR+ and ATTUne software solves the problem that there is no integrated solution to find a rail path between two locations on the network that is feasible in respect to both infrastructure constraints (eg gauge, length and weight of the train, and timetabling, ensuring it does not conflict with other trains on the network.
Crowe Wharf Engineers (CWE) is launching a system for pooling buffers so that operators all over Europe can quickly receive a high quality refurbished buffer. As soon as the old buffer is received by CWE, a newly-refurbished buffer from the pool is sent out in return. Giving buffers a new lease of life is an important tool for operators’ decarbonisation programmes.
