Presentation: Scaling your vCIO services
Most MSPs include vCIO services in their offer but most struggle to deliver them. In most cases the owner or principal still needs to get involved and, in many cases, they still manage or do the whole thing. Often MSPs will do a great job delivering these services to their largest account but will neglect their other clients. This is because the process of preparing the meetings is often still very manual and therefore extremely time-consuming.
Most prospects we met will tell us how one of their major pain points is that their current MSP does very poor (or simply just doesn’t do) strategic planning. It’s therefore crucial that you get vCIO services right!
In this presentation, I will share how I was able to scale our vCIO practice in our MSP from myself 16 years ago to a team of 11 vCIOs & account managers today. I will focus on how we were able to streamline our strategic planning process to ensure a consistent experience for all our clients. I will walk you through the tools we’ve used to automate the process as much as possible. I will also cover how to structure and manage an account management team. Finally, I will describe the key KPIs used to evaluate vCIOs.
