CSEC School Response & Prevention Education

A training to understand how to respond appropriately to exploitation within a school setting. This training will also help educators implement prevention education in the classroom and meet requirements of the California Healthy Youth Act, Human Trafficking Prevention Education & Training Act, and Health Education Content Standards.

WEAVE served as primary writers and content experts for the 2019 revision of the California Health Education Framework, and developed the Early Identification of Commercially Sexually Exploited Children (CSEC) Training Program funded by CalOES.

The Early Identification of Commercially Sexually Exploited Children (CSEC) Training Program provides training for educators and administrators related to CSEC and current laws mandating education in schools, including the California Healthy Youth Act and the Human Trafficking Prevention Education and Training Act.
