The sixth webinar in the W-GDP Webinar Series on Women’s Economic Empowerment aims to contribute to the objective of creating an enabling environment for the economic empowerment of women entrepreneurs and their workers. The webinar will take off from the ARTA presentation of EODB policies and efforts thus far, and a presentation of the results of an UPPAF RESPOND-commissioned research on gender analysis of EODB policies and practices, focusing on business licensing, accessing credit, and registering property. The panel discussion that follows will cover the BPL system of a local government unit (LGU); experiences of an entrepreneur in navigating the regulatory environment related to starting and sustaining a business, registering property, and accessing credit; and government credit registry efforts to provide micro and small entrepreneurs a credit footprint that could facilitate the latter’s access to credit.
Organized by UPPAF RESPOND, in partnership with PCW, UPCWGS and WSAP
