Matthew Malone has accumulated a wealth of experience in the areas of wastewater and stormwater capacity assessment and management, with a high level of expertise in capacity management, stormwater management, flow monitoring, and inflow and infiltration (I/I) programs. Matthew’s previous experience as a Project Manager for the Region of Peel’s Infrastructure Planning and Asset Management group allowed him to gain insights into the key challenges faced by municipalities managing water/wastewater assets. Revd Dave Walker (Commercial Director @Detectronic Ltd) Dave began his career in the Water Industry as a Field Service Technician in 1989. With qualifications initially in Electronics, he later gained a BSc Hons from Sheffield Hallam University in Environmental Management, and more recently being awarded a BA Hons in Theology from the University of Sheffield. Dave has actively worked in the flow survey industry for over 30 years and has experience of operating flow surveys in the UK, Canada, Hong Kong and Australia. His work has been wide ranging from permanent flow measurement within the Mersey Estuary Pollution Alleviation Programme to Short and Long term flow surveys in Urban and Rural drainage area catchments and SuDS. Dave studied at Sheffield Hallam University where his work focused on sewer flow measurement instrumentation and practices. Scott Brown (Systems Specialist, Integrated Systems Division @Hoskin Scientific Ltd.) Scott Brown (M.Sc.), is a highly experienced environmental and instrumentation monitoring systems specialist with a passion for developing innovative solutions to complex environmental and geotechnical monitoring challenges. With over 18 years of experience in the field, he has developed a deep understanding of the latest technologies and techniques in climate and water resource management systems. Scott received his Master's of Science in Geography from Wilfrid Laurier University in 2010 with a focus on the hydrometeorology of Boreal and Sub-Arctic watersheds. While completing his Master's research, Scott was a research scientist at Wilfrid Laurier University where he managed a nationally-funded $3mil collaborative research program with the University of Waterloo, the University of Alberta and the University of Colorado at Boulder examining the impacts of heavy industry on wetland reclamation in Canada's north.
