Lasondra Wilson, the owner of Yellowcake Desserts is a self taught baker who has been surrounded with baking and cooking her whole life. Lasondra grew up learning beloved family recipes, some of which she uses in her business. Before baking full time, Lasondra was a preschool teacher. While teaching, she made cakes occasionally for a few people and eventually Yellowcake Desserts was created. Those few people told a few more people and soon so many people we asking for cakes and other dessert that Lasondra left teaching to bake full time. Lasondra loves to make uniquely flavored desserts and embraces natural cake decorations such as dried fruit and fresh flowers. Yellowcake Desserts has been blessed to work with companies such as Hoka Shoes and Credit Karma and is excited to be working with Sloat Garden Company. While dessert is just dessert to some people, Lasondra knows how food, especially dessert, can breed joy, love and connectedness in people.
