Jackie Leiper, Workplace Savings and Distribution Director, Ali Nicolson, Head of Client Relationships, Workplace Savings and Robert Cochran, Senior Workplace Take to Market Specialist, of Scottish Widows will be discussing their recent Women in Retirement report and the challenges and systematic issues facing women as well as providing solutions for how we can cope with the challenges of living longer and the options available within current constraints.
Jackie has extension technical experience in the financial services industry, with a focus on life and pensions. She is responsible for the Workplace Savings & Distribution business in Insurance. Jackie is also a media spokesperson for Scottish Widows, and sponsors the annual Women in Retirement Report. Jackie is a member of the Insurance and Wealth (I&W) Executive Committee, and also sits on the I&W Risk Committee and Customer & Product Committee.
Alison has over 25 years' experience in financial services. Alison joined Insurance Division in 2015 as Head of Workplace Propositions delivering significant enhancement in her first 18 months in role to stabilise the proposition in a period of unprecedented market change. 2017 focussed on simplifying our pensions proposition and expanding customer solutions delivered in the way our customers want.
Robert leads the Scottish Widows Employer and Employee engagement teams – his team create messages and material for adviser, employer and employee Pension Seminars and Engagement Events. They meet thousands of employees each year and talk to them about pensions and because of this Robert is a zealot about simplifying pensions for people. Increasingly he and his team are working with LBG digital resources to simplify pensions within broader Financial Wellness for employees.
