After the Mayflower: A Struggling Colony Expands, 1621-1623
After Mayflower's departure in 1621, Plymouth saw the arrival of several ships with passengers coming to join struggling Colony. Explore more of this story with Pilgrim historian and author The Revd. Dr. W. Becket Soule as he tells the always fascinating, often inspiring, and occasionally tragic histories of these four vessels and the people who embarked in them. From the group of young men who arrived without food or provisions in 1621 to others ships that reunited families and brought sweethearts, Revd. Soule will share what happened after the Mayflower’s captain and crew sailed back to England in the spring of 1621 and how the four follow-on ships each brought distinctive change to the infant Plimoth Plantation.

The Revd. Dr. W. Becket Soule is a scholar, professor, and priest, currently serving as the pastor of St. Margaret of Scotland Catholic Church in North Carolina. A descendant of several Pilgrim families, Becket is on the board of numerous Mayflower groups and is an editor for the Mayflower Silver Book series.
