Valerie Thompson

Valerie Thompson, Director of Development, The Actuarial Foundation Valerie has worked in the Chicago nonprofit environment for more than 20 years. She is The Actuarial Foundation’s first-ever Director of Development. She came from the American Academy of Dermatology, where she most recently served as Senior Manager for Individual Giving. Previous roles include Director of Development at the American Brain Tumor Association, Executive Director of Emergency Fund for Needy People (now known as All Chicago), and Executive Director of Resources in Community Living. Valerie has a Bachelor’s in Social Work from the University of Wisconsin, La Crosse, and a Master of Social Work from the University of Wisconsin, Madison. She is a member of the American Society of Association Executives (ASAE), the Medical Society Fund Raising Network (MSFRN) and Association Forum.
Kristen Weber, MA, CNP

Kristen Weber, MA, CNP, Executive Director, Chicago Dental Society Foundation Kristen Weber is Executive Director of the Chicago Dental Society Foundation and Dental Clinic. She holds a M.A. in Philanthropy from the University of Northern Iowa. Prior to her current role, she was Chief Development Officer for the Neurosurgery Research and Education Foundation of the American Association of Neurological Surgeons. Ms. Weber serves on the Board of Directors for the Dental Philanthropy Network, the Foundation of the National Commission on Correctional Health Care, and Greater Chicago Cavalier Rescue.
Brian Wallace

Brian Wallace, President and CEO, Coin Laundry Association and LaundryCares Foundation Originally from Chicago, Brian joined the Coin Laundry Association in 1992 and assumed the role of CEO in June 1999. He earned a bachelor’s degree in communications from Northern Illinois University. A leader in the self-service laundry industry for over 20 years, Brian has led more than 600 educational seminars and penned numerous articles on all things related to self-service laundry management. Brian has served as Chairman of the Executive Committee of the Clean Show – the world’s largest exhibition of laundry equipment and services. He is Past President of the Cleaning & Laundry Association Executives (CLAE) and a member of the American Society of Association Executives (ASAE) and the Association Forum of Chicagoland. In his time “off the road,” Brian resides outside of Chicago in Elmhurst, Ill. with his wife Julia and daughter Beatrix.
Paula J. Eichenbrenner, MBA, CAE

Paula J. Eichenbrenner was appointed Executive Director of the Academy of Managed Care Pharmacy (AMCP) Foundation in November 2015. In this capacity, she partners with the Board of Trustees to provide strategic leadership for the AMCP Foundation, the Academy’s philanthropic and educational arm. Prior to joining the AMCP Foundation, Ms. Eichenbrenner held leadership roles at the American Society for Nutrition/ASN Foundation and the Council for Affordable and Rural Housing. She has been recognized with numerous industry distinctions, including the Association Forum/USAE 40 Under 40 in Non-Profit Management Award. Eichenbrenner is a Certified Association Executive (CAE) with fundraising and public affairs experience in diverse non-profit settings including trade associations, professional societies and foundations. She holds a Master’s in Business Administration (MBA) with a specialization in global business from Virginia Tech, and is an honors graduate of Tulane University.
