Jennifer Jones
Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist
Jennifer Jones is a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist. Born and raised in Southern California, she received her Sociology and Black Studies degrees from the University of California Santa Barbara and her Master’s Degree in Clinical Psychology from Antioch University, Santa Barbara. Jennifer is a busy and blessed wife and mother. One of Jennifer’s passions is helping women gain confidence and tools to build resilience as they learn how to share their story, and shush [their] shame. In her day job, she is a clinical supervisor of a team serving children and families in community mental health. She also has a small private practice and is currently teaching as an Adjunct Professor at Biola University.
Candace Best
Writer, Education Specialist, and Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion Coordinator
Candace Best is a writer, Education Specialist, and Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion coordinator at an all girls charter in the South Bronx. She has worked with a diverse group of students and communities including black and latinx students on the Autism Spectrum, neurodivergent students, students with intellectual and emotional disabilities, learning disabilities, English language learners, and students with a range of physical disabilities and impairments. She believes in the divinity of all humans and has developed a teaching practice that is therapeutic and culturally responsive.
