Cuanto is the first Central American technology startup to receive investment from Y Combinator, the most prestigious startup accelerator in Silicon Valley in California. His work experience includes his work at the law firm Arias & Muñoz in Costa Rica and at the Panamanian firm Arias, Fábrega y Fábrega (ARIFA), in the capital market practice area. and financial regulation. He pursued a Master's degree in Business Administration at the University of Texas at Austin and at the London School of Economics. He was a consultant to the Wharton School of Business at the University of Pennsylvania to structure the MBA fintech course of said business school.
