The Global Environmental Crime Tracker has been developed by EIA over the past 12 months to improve access to non-sensitive data that EIA collects on wildlife seizures, illegal logging and environmental crime. It includes interactive dashboards and live mapping of incidents, allowing the user to filter and tailor the information to their requirements.
The new tool will provide insights into hot spots of illegal wildlife and timber trade as well as changes in trends and methodology of trafficking. Giving public access to this data in real time will help to improve understanding of current environmental crime issues.
Please join EIA for a demo of the new tracker and the opportunity to ask questions about how to use it.
