Freelance Contracts: a Public-interest Roundtable
Join Mother Jones CEO Monika Bauerlein, former Bloomberg News Global Media Counsel Charles Glasser, freelance investigative reporter Alexandria Bordas and FIRE executive director Laird Townsend for a lively roundtable discussion on investigative freelance contracts, with special emphasis on legal liabilities and indemnification.

The event will sound out a range of public-interest solutions to liability and other contractual challenges, featuring tips, tactics, and hard-won insight from decades of freelance journalism—along with two newly unveiled tools for the field.
