NEC UB/UBMS Professional Development Seminar

NOSOTROS Education Center (NEC) will conduct an ONLINE Upward Bound/Upward Bound Math & Science (UB/UBMS) Professional Development Seminar for two (2) days on January 26 & 27, 2023 (9 am to 4 pm - ALL TIMES CENTRAL ).

This ONLINE seminar will consist of eight (8) workshops for a total of ten (10) hours addressing the following UB/UBMS topics:

1.) UB/UBMS Program Regulations - Part 1
2.) UB/UBMS Program Regulations - Part 2
3.) Objectives & Plan to Deliver Services
4.) Identification, Recruitment, & Selection
5.) Budget Management & Uniform Guidance Overview
6.) Recordkeeping Requirements & Documentation of Services
7.) Compliance Assessment Readiness
8.) Interim & Annual Performance Reports

Please note that this is a professional development seminar, and an allowable cost: The cost principles that apply to the Upward Bound Program are in 2 CFR part 200, subpart E. Allowable costs include the following if they are reasonably related to the objectives of the project: 34 CFR 645.40(a): In-service training
of project staff.
