About this workshop
The second Saturn return is a significant rite of passage that marks the end of a cycle in the life span and is conversely the beginning of a new and perhaps final chapter. Once again, Saturn marks another milestone of maturity, a turning point where we are called to reassess our values. We may be acutely aware that there is no turning back – we are now truly on the road to elderhood, and although we are not yet “old,” and our lives still contain untold possibility, we are crossing a threshold that can bring fear and anxiety as we face this uncharted territory. Many clients come to this juncture with some measure of trepidation, and fear that this time will bring depression, stagnation, and stasis. While it is true that we now step into a different phase of life, viewing the Second Saturn Return through an archetypal lens can bring a deeply spiritual perspective as we enter a new level of soul crafting. In this class we will look at some techniques and principles to help us interpret the Second Saturn Return with a special focus on the spiritual purpose of this milestone. We’ll also explore some counseling guidelines when working with someone who finds themselves this pivotal juncture.
