Join us for a complimentary continuing education event hosted by The Emily Program. Presented by Hilmar Wagner, MPH, RDN, CD
When does overeating become a ‘problem’? When is obesity related to compulsive overeating or binge eating? Our “Craving More: Binge Eating and Compulsive Overeating” presentation will provide a comprehensive overview of binge eating disorder (BED) and compulsive overeating. We will explore how to identify these eating disorders, how they interface with obesity and treatment recommendations for each. Research indicates that up to 30% of individuals seeking weight loss services also struggle with eating disorders. If your clients are among those coping with weight-related issues or eating disorders, this workshop will provide practical techniques based on CBT and Mindful Eating to help you partner with them in recovery.
