New Increased Builder Incentives & Clean Growth Pathway to 2050
Developers, builders, suppliers, and those supporting the construction sector will play a large role in helping municipalities, the Province, and Canada meet its climate targets. The policies that support these targets are evolving quickly and will require the development community to adapt at unprecedented rates. In this seminar John Drazic, Regional Energy Solutions Manager with FortisBC, will provide an overview of the energy sector and will share the findings of FortisBC's Pathways report that highlights the benefits of a diversified approach to energy use to meet climate targets. The audience will be provided with an objective comparison of an all-electric or a diversified pathway using both the gas and electric systems to meet climate targets. Wade will then discuss the rebates and incentives for developers. Attendees will benefit from the seminar by gaining insight into how FortisBC can provide energy solutions to meet future policy requirements while benefiting from the rebates and incentives that FortisBC offers to the development community.
