Jack McGuire
Managing Director/Deputy General Counsel, Director Of Litigation @Oppenheimer & Co.
Jack McGuire is the Deputy General Counsel, Director of Litigation at Oppenheimer. Mr. McGuire began his legal career as an Assistant District Attorney in the Brooklyn District Attorney’s Office and thereafter, served as trial counsel for E.F Hutton & Company, Inc. In 1986, Mr. McGuire joined Oppenheimer and was eventually promoted to Managing Director in its Legal Department. In 1995 Mr. McGuire became General Counsel and Senior Vice President of a boutique broker/dealer, also located in New York. In 1999, Mr. McGuire founded John T. McGuire & Associates, focusing on securities regulation and litigation, and white-collar criminal matters. In 2006, Mr. McGuire rejoined Oppenheimer. Mr. McGuire graduated from St. Joseph’s College, Brooklyn and received his J.D. from New York Law School.
Esther Cho

Esther Cho is a shareholder with Keesal, Young & Logan. Esther currently serves on the firm’s Executive Committee and its Diversity and Inclusion Committee. Esther’s practice focuses on securities, employment, and mortgage banking litigation, and she has defended financial services firms, with particular emphasis on securities broker-dealers, in judicial and arbitration proceedings involving claims for suitability, churning, fraud, negligence, violation of federal and state securities laws, breach of contract, breach of fiduciary duty, wrongful termination, and harassment. She has handled hundreds of cases filed in state and federal court and before securities arbitration forums such as the FINRA, NASD, NYSE, PCX, JAMS, and AAA. In addition, she has represented institutions and individuals in connection with regulatory enforcement investigations.
Greg Kyle
Director and Expert @Bates Group LLC
Greg Kyle is a director in Bates Group’s New York office. He uses his extensive background in the securities industry to consult and provide expert witness testimony on matters involving fixed income and credit market performance and analysis including mortgage- and asset-backed securities, equity market and security valuations, sector and asset allocation analysis, and fund risk disclosures. Mr. Kyle's 20 years of experience in the investment management and research sector has allowed him to be a testifying expert in numerous arbitrations on fixed income and structured products (including ABS, MBS, and CDOs) in fund portfolios. In addition, he has also testified to credit market performance, investor risk disclosures and risk assessment, and default analysis for fixed income and various structured products. Mr. Kyle still actively analyzes the financial markets and publishes analyses of the economy and the capital markets, including equity and fixed income.
