The YoCo CHIRP (COVID-19 Hospitality Industry Recovery Program) Fund is awarding grants ranging from $5,000 to $50,000 that do not have to be paid back for businesses with the NAICS codes 721 and 722. On February 5th, Governor Wolf signed into law Act 1, legislation that set aside $145 million in funds to aid hospitality industry businesses affected by the COVID-19 pandemic.
York County will receive $5.08 million to award to hospitality and restaurant businesses with the NAICS codes 721 and 722, and to cover administrative costs for operating the program. The YoCo CHIRP (COVID-19 Hospitality Industry Recovery Program) Fund will be administered by the York County Economic Alliance as the county’s Economic Development Organization.
