In classical yoga, the life force within the body is likened to the flow of a river. In this class, we practice movements to sustain the fluid channels in the body, including circulatory pathways of blood and lymph. By lengthening and deepening the respiratory rhythm, we help promote wave-like motion through the brain, organs and spine. Come prepared to increase flow in all the fluid channels of your body.
Have your props handy! We recommend a block, blanket, bolster, belt (and chair if you have access to one).
