Fixing Pittsburgh’s problems starts with listening to Black women! That’s why the Black Women’s Policy Agenda launched a survey and facilitated a series of community conversations to elevate the voice and experiences of Black women in the Greater Pittsburgh region. For us by us. It is a first step to build collective power among Black women, advocate for our needs, and advance policy to achieve racial and gender justice.
The panel discussion will focus on policy that is critical for Black women for achieving equity and addressing some of the concerns we heard from Black women. The survey findings and listening session will help us frame our advocacy agenda and action plan.
