Town Hall - Happy Valley-Goose Bay and area

Your health. Your province. Your say.

When we last connected, we shared with you some shocking facts about health and health care in Newfoundland and Labrador.

You told us that in order to make our province a healthier place, we must work on the social factors that affect our health and improve access to health care services. We also heard your ideas for getting the system to perform better for the people it serves.

We listened to your hopes, concerns, and ideas and used them to create six directions for a 10-year health transformation.

You are invited to join the co-chairs, Dr. Patrick Parfrey and Sister Elizabeth Davis, for a virtual town hall to provide feedback on the directions we propose. We need your help to ensure we are headed in the right direction on our journey to better health.

These sessions are free and open to everyone in Newfoundland and Labrador. They are organized by region, but you are welcome to attend any session that fits your schedule.

It is a priority of the Task Force to receive guidance from provincial Indigenous leaders on the best ways to link with members of Indigenous communities. Initial engagement is underway with more details to be announced soon.
