Speaker: Dr Ann Tan
Dr Tan will discuss the recent changes in regulatory requirements in Singapore on IVF treatments for women 45 years and older, challenges in treating women in older age groups and the need for a team of multiple fertility specialities to provide a holistic approach to IVF treatment.
6.50pm-7.15pm: The A.R.T. in IVF
Speaker: Dr SL Liow
Dr Liow will speak on laboratory practices and approaches to improve IVF outcomes, e.g. DNA fragmentation assay, selection of sperm and oocyte for ICSI using high magnification and polarized light microscopy (Oosight) respectively, and
advanced embryo culture systems.
7.15pm - 7.40pm: The use of Artificial Intelligence in A.R.T
Speakers: Dr Simon Cooke and A/Prof Peter Illingworth
Dr Simon Cooke will speak on the development of the Artificial Intelligence (AI) program in the EmbryoScope incubators, and describe how AI system analyses the growth of the embryos. He will compare the Embryoscope AI system with other AI systems currently being proposed. A/Prof Peter Illingworth will speak on the application implications of Artificial Intelligence in embryo selection for clinical practice and the planned randomised controlled trial of AI.
