Join the Congressional Hispanic Caucus Institute (CHCI) for its virtual briefing on Education and Equity in a Post-COVID-19 Society. The briefing will consist of two sessions: the first part focused on PreK-12 education, and the second on postsecondary education.
Key topics for the first part will include the role, nature, and needs of the teaching profession in a post COVID-19 phase, and what can be done in both policy and practice to strengthen education while forging a way forward for teachers and students of color. It will feature policy leaders and education experts who will discuss emerging best practices in teaching, adapting pedagogy to the digital classroom, diversity in the teaching workforce, and cultural competence among other topics.
